Let’s say you use an Astaro ASG 110 or ASG 120 to secure your line to the Internet and you want to give it a break. Then all you have to do is to initiate a “Factory Reset” from the admin menu to convert it into the most expensive paperweight you probably own. Actually, this will only work with version 6.0001 of the OS. A bug in that version causes the ASG 110 and 120 to come up with all network interfaces disabled. How I found out about that? Well, I did a “Factory Reset” on the ASG 110 I currently have here for evaluation.
