The MIMO effect

For I didn’t have any need to upgrade my own wireless network, my use for MIMO routers has been limited so far. Today however I upgraded the WLAN at my “secondary office”™ from an old D-Link DI-614 to a Netgear WPN824. The effect was stunning. Where I had shaky to none reception before I now have full signal strength, even in the second floor while the router is located in the basement. As it’s currently quite cold outside, I’m not testing how far into the garden the signal range reaches. This will have to wait until spring ;)
